Zenzile - Can't Blame the Youth (2021)

During his last European tour, TRINITY, legendary reggae DJ, toaster and producer met French formation ZENZILE and producer IRIE ITES in 2019, interesting musical material emerged from this encounter, immortalized on "Can't Blame The Youth" in four tracks and accompanying dubs and discomixes. The Alpha Boy School graduate, whose career spanned from the 70s to deep into the 90s, met the heavy bass and echo flags of the French with his chants and toasts, IRIE ITES provided a complementary roots feeling

On the songs "No Worry Yourself", "Can't Blame The Youth", "I Don't Need Dope" and "Dread Inna Babylon" and their accompanying versions, digital reggae pioneer KING KONG is joined by venerable vocal outfit THE TAMLINS . An unintentional but ultimately successful farewell for a great pioneer of Jamaican music.
