Sara Jane Ceccarelli - Milky Way (Short Stories Between the Earth and Stars) (2021)

“Milky Way”, the second album by the Italian-Canadian singer Sara Jane Ceccarelli, will be released on Friday 11 June for Parco della Musica Records. The record expresses the nature of the era we live in, which does not remove the idea of contamination but rather wants to enhance its strength.

Ten songs, nine in English and one in Italian, which include the reworking, with original text by SJC, of "Children's Song No. 3" by Chick Corea, and the reinterpretation with rewriting, in English of the song "Del tempo che the happiness passes ”by Motta. In between, SJC's journey ranges from Africa to funk, from jazz to North American folk, from pop to reggae.
