Mehdi Naderi is a musician and composer, his main activity is composing and designing sounds for films and theater shows . He was born in 1990 in Maraghe which is a city located in northwest of Iran , Mehdi started to play piano when he was kid but when he was a teenager because of his oriental taste of music he changed his instrument to Setar and again after a time he chose Tanbour as his major and professional instrument for rest of his career. Numerous trips to western Iran for enhancing his Tanbour introduced him to folk music of Iran and initiated Mehdi's work and research in that field. Entering the College Of the Tehran Conservatory of Music he began his academic studies in Iranian instruments and research in the field of ethnomusicology. After three and a half year of study, Mehdi get out of college and began composing and designing sounds for films and theater shows . Outcome of his activity in film music he has won several international and national awards for his works.
