Beatrice Arrigoni starts with classical piano at the age of 8, continuing later with modern singing at the "Cdpm" music school in Bergamo; since 2006 she has performed in jazz, alongside some professionals of the Bergamo and Milanese environment such as Sergio Orlandi, Guido Bombardieri, Tony Arco, Andrea Andreoli, Alessandro Bottacchiari.
Over the years he has participated in numerous jazz seminars with national and international teachers such as Dave Liebman, Jay Clayton, Rachel Gould, Norma Winstone, Theo Bleckmann, Jen Shyu, Cristina Zavalloni, Jason Lindner, Sara Serpa, Susanne Abbuehl, and Diana Torto, winning a scholarship as best voice during the “Laurino in Jazz 2014” seminars.
For four years he was a member of the gospel choir "The Golden Guys" by Paola Milzani (with whom he recorded as a soloist in 2010), and from 2011 to 2015 he was part of the Milanese a cappella choir "Clam Chowder" directed by Maestro Giorgio Ubaldi, with the which successfully participates in numerous national and international competitions and festivals: among many, the Montreux International Festival, the Concours de Chorales de Draguignan, the Verona International Competition, the "Concordia Vocis" International Choral Festival in Cagliari, the International Competition of Gorizia.
She graduated from the Civic Courses of Jazz in Milan in 2013 studying with Laura Conti, Gabriele Comeglio, Marco Vaggi, Tony Arco, Roberto Rossi, Achille Succi and Claudio Fasoli.
In 2014 she entered the Biennium in Jazz Singing at the Milan Conservatory, where she studied with Tiziana Ghiglioni, Tino Tracanna, Greg Burk, Riccardo Luppi, Antonio Zambrini, Alberto Mandarini, and where she joined the "Contemporary ensemble" of Giovanni Falzone. She graduated with honors in 2018 with a thesis dedicated to Anglo-American poetry, for which she specially composes music for septet based on texts by Emily Dickinson, Sylvia Plath and Wallace Stevens.
She deepens the study of vocal technique first with Luigina Bertuzzi, then with the speech therapist and singing teacher Marina Bertocchi, and currently with the singer of ancient and baroque music Elena Carzaniga. She is currently studying composition with Maestro Mauro Montalbetti.
From 2015 to 2019 she attends the experimental music research workshops held by pianist and composer Stefano Battaglia, through which she approaches the world of poetry and improvisation in an a-idiomatic sense. In September 2019 she recorded a contemporary Italian poetry project on texts chosen by her, with Stefano Battaglia himself on piano, Nazareno Caputo on vibraphone and marimba, and Luca di Battista on drums. As part of the LPRM, you have the opportunity to participate in a workshop conducted by Michele Rabbia in 2015.
In the summer of 2017 she was selected by the director Cesare Ronconi to participate in the workshop on "poetry and music" held by the Valdoca Theater, during which she deepens the relationship between choral singing-poetic word-movement.
In 2020 she is selected by the Cini Foundation of Venice to participate in a workshop on improvisation led by Evan Parker, Giancarlo Schiaffini, Walter Branchi and others.
In 2015 the experimental duo with drummer Fabrizio Carriero was born, dedicated to the poetic world of Emily Dickinson, with whom she performs in various jazz and non-jazz realities.
The recording of My River runs to thee (TRJ Records) alongside Fabrizio Carriero dates back to 2017, and of her first quartet album entitled Innerscape (Emme Record Label), in which she is the author of the songs and lyrics, as well as leader of the group.
With Beatrice Arrigoni 4et - formed by Andrea Grossi (double bass), Lorenzo Blardone (piano) and Matteo Rebulla (drums) - in 2016 he won the competition organized by "Italian Jazz Musicians" for the regions of Lombardy and Emilia Romagna, in the under 30 category With Innerscape she participates in various Jazz reviews in Italy, and is chosen by Tino Tracanna to perform at the “Bergamo Jazz 2020” festival.
He is a member of the experimental trio Entanglement formed by Matteo Lorito (double bass, electronics) and Andrea Ruggeri (drums), with whom he recorded in 2019 the project “A brief history of Time” dedicated to the first part of the “Four Quartets” by T. S. Eliot.
You are a member of Niccolò Faraci's original music quartet, with Niccolò Faraci on double bass, Lorenzo Blardone on piano and Alfonso Donadio on drums.
He carries on the jazz tradition as a permanent member of the swing quintet from the 30's-40's "Lucy's Pie Tiny Orchestra", alongside Arturo Garra (clarinet), Guido Bianchini (double bass), Andrea Centonze (drums) and Yuri Biscaro (guitar) .
She graduated in Modern Literature with full marks and honors from the University of Milan, with a thesis in Music Dramaturgy and Media Linguistics respectively.
Since 2013 you have been teaching modern and jazz singing in various didactic realities of the Milanese and Bergamo area.
