Critically acclaimed jazz vocalist JUDY WEXLER is known for her soulful, heartfelt vocals and her ability to find under\-exposed gems and imbue them with warmth and wit.\n\nJazzTimes Magazine says, \x26#34;Judy Wexler has carved out a jewel\-like niche as a gracefully swinging singer who brings penetrating insight to American Songbook\-adjacent material often over\-looked by her colleagues.”\n\nOn Back to the Garden, her 6th album, Wexler departs from her usual jazz fare to recast familiar songs of the 1960s as jazz\/pop anthems relevant for today’s social and political ethos.\n\nWexler has been featured twice on NPR Weekend Edition with Susan Stamberg, who said, “Based on the evidence, Judy Wexler can sing almost anything.” She has toured the USA at storied jazz venues including Birdland, The Blue Note, Jazz Alley, Blues Alley, and Catalina Bar \x26 Grill, among many others, and has head\-lined at performing arts centers and jazz festivals in Montreal, Tel Aviv, Dubai and San Jose. All of her albums have charted on the national JazzWeek radio chart, with two albums charting in the Top 5. Her prior CD, Crowded Heart, charted at #7 on Billboard’s Traditional Jazz Albums chart.
