Francis Tétu - Mes Standards Vol.1 (2021)

Instrumental guitarist Francis Tétu today releases his third solo album, Mes Standards vol. 1. For this first part, the artist draws on the repertoire of Louis Armstrong, Henry Mancini, Édith Piaf, Yves Montand, Django Reinardt and many others. Thus, he revisits in particular Automn Leaves (Dead leaves), What a Wonderful World, The Girl from Ipanema and Sous le ciel de Paris. Francis Tétu once again produced this third album himself, here in a solo guitar version, he tackled jazz standards that have marked his musical journey through the years.

Musician accompanist for several years, we have noticed Francis and his guitar alongside several artists including Gildor Roy, Guylaine Tanguay, Ima, Martine St-Clair and many others. His first two albums Versatility (2019) and Take 2 (2020) were noticed both on digital platforms and by critics. His musical direction is tinged with several styles he adores, including jazz, Latin, pop and country.
