Carolyn Hester - Texas Songbird (1994)

Reissue edition of a CD that combines the tracks of the albums "Warriors of the Rainbow" (originally released in 1982) and "Mystic Medicine" (originally released in 1986) on to a single CD. Hester is best known for having introduced a young harmonica player to the legendary producer John Hammond in the early 1960's that led to him signing Bob Dylan to the Columbia label. These albums were recorded after she had taken a long sabbatical from the music scene and decided to make a go of it again in the 1980's.
