Tatiana Samouil was born in St. Petersburg. She took up the violin at the age of six and made her solo debut with the orchestra three years later. Tatiana graduated from the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, Royal Conservatory
of Brussels and Madrid's Queen Sofía College of Music. Tatiana Samouil is a winner of world’s most prestigious competitions: Tchaikovsky, Queen Elizabeth, Jean Sibelius, Henry Vieuxtemps, Tenuto, as well as numerous prizes at the Michael Hill. She performed as soloist with many orchestras, Russian National Orchestra, St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra, National Orchestra of Belgium, Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra, Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Toulouse Chamber Orchestra, Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra and the Orquestra Metropolitana de Lisboa. Her numerous recordings for Sony, Cypres and Indesens received excellent reviews. She was a soloist at the final ceremony at The Olympic Games in Sochi in February 2014. Tatiana Samouil plays a 1714 Stradivarius, once owned by the legendary Fritz Kreisler.
Irina Lankova was born in Russia and graduated from Gnessin Music School in Moscow and from Brussels’s Royal Conservatory. She is one of a few young performers receiving pianistic advice from Vladimir Ashkenazy. She performed as a soloist at numerous festivals and played as a soloist with orchestras including the Moscow Chamber Orchestra, Nijnij Novgorod Philarmonic and Novosibirsk Symphony Orchestra. In 2008 she made a triumphant Wigmore Hall debut and since then has performed regularly at London’s St Martin’s-in-the Fields. In 2009, she was invited to become one of the elite worldwide Steinway Artists'. Since than, she has established herself on stages worldwide as a fine pianist with beautiful discography (Rachmaninov, Scriabin, Chopin and Schubert) and ever growing media attention. In 2014, Irina Lankova made her debut recital in Salle Gaveau in Paris. During that concert, she performed the world premiere of ‘Ostinato Etude’ by Nimrod Borenstein that he wrote for her.
