Anri Kumaki - kaze to nagi (2016) Hi-Res

Kumaki Anri's first best album after eight years and six albums in the business, "kaze to nagi". Though this might as well be called a CM/tie-up best, since just about every song in this album has a tie-in of some sort, from Uniqlo and Shiseido commercials to Uniqlo, and drama and movie theme songs.

Material from her VAP days is strangely lacking (only her debut single, "madoe", is included), as well as songs from her earlier albums at King Records - only "nagai hanashi" from her second album, as well as "shinkirou" and "tatakai no mujun" from her third disc. It focuses largely on her fourth and fifth albums, with a few choice B-sides from her singles included as well. "watashi wo tadoru monogatari", one of her best singles, is finally included on an album for the first time in its entirety, though.

Rounding off the deal are two bonus tracks, one on each disc - the first disc features "CHAPPE SONG", a simple ditty Kumaki wrote as a CM song, while the second includes a live performance of "issen ichibyou", a beautiful ballad from her newest album "hana yori hoka ni", taken from her album tour finale last November at Tokyo International Forum Hall A and featuring her on keyboard.
