Thanks for these great Ormandy/Philadelphia remasterings!

Do you know whether or not Sony has re-issued (or plans to re-issue) either of their recordings of the John Vincent Symphony in D? The stereo version was licensed to Albany Records and re-issued a number of years ago with minimal remastering, but the monaural version (actually a different recording from an earlier recording session) has not to my knowledge been reissued as yet.

Thanks so much for letting me know about this!

I was introduced to this music by renting the original mono lp from a commercial record lending library (!) back in the '60's, and it is both amazing and gratifying to learn that all three of the original analog LP recordings of this undeservedly but undeniably obscure work are now available in digitally remastered formats.
