Mark Wayne Hagood - 4 Hagood Time (2015)

Raised in West Texas (Sweetwater) before spreading wings to lots of places, Mark returned home back to those roots to record and release a compilation of some of the best songs written to date by Mark Wayne Hagood. A big fan of Texas Music and a respecter of the Classic Country that built Nashville and the wide-spread love for country music, Mark has written songs about lost love, moving past love and holding onto love and how to keep a levity throughout it all. The CD also pays tribute to his dad, a hometown/small town barber for almost 50 years, with an acoustic ending song "Barber's Kid". Always a HUGE Waylon Jennings fan, and counted as one of his biggest musical influences, Mark's sound summons the "Waylon" sound to life, while keeping a unique-ness not unlike another songwriting hero of Mark's, Robert Earl Keen. Each song speaks to every listener differently, and the wide array of feelings throughout the lyrics on the CD guarantees that depending on where you are in your life at any given point, a certain song will be sure to hit you right between the eyes and/or through the heart.
