If the name sounds familiar it’s because Bernard is none other than the son of the late great Blues guitarist, Luther Allison. The younger Allison has spent years honing his skills to become a great guitarist in his very own right, as well as a fine vocalist and gifted songwriter. From his remarkable duet with Allison senior at the 1983 Chicago Blues Festival, to his years playing behind Koko Taylor and with Willie Dixon band, Bernard matured into a self-assured and imposing front man.
