As a soloist and chamber musician, he performs worldwide - with partners such as Julia Fischer, Alban Gerhard, Arabella Steinbacher, Ana Chumachenco, Lisa Batiashvili, Eduard Brunner, András Adorján, Milana Chernyavska, Oliver Schnyder, the Quatuor Ebène, Ensemble Oktoplus, the Capella Instropolitana, the Jena Philharmonic, the Georgian Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto, Munich Chamber Orchestra, the Munich Symphony Orchestra.
Future concerts will take him to Brazil, Mexico, Portugal and Asia in 2018/2019, where he will make his concert debut in Japan and Taiwan. The English label AVIE released five CD recordings. Among other things, the CD "Homelands" presented with pianist Oliver Schnyder in 2009, which received the "Supersonic 2010 Award", caused enthusiasm among the press and classical musicians. Turku's album "SOUVENIRS - Musiktage with Rudens Turku" was released by OehmsClassics and was nominated for the German Record Award.
In addition to master classes all over the world, Turku has been teaching a violin class at the Vorarlberg State Conservatory in Feldkirch / Austria and, since 2015, at the Accademia Perosi in Biella / Italy, with sustained success. In national and international competitions (including the violin competition "Rodolfo Lipizer Prize", Eurovision Young Musicians), his students are repeatedly among the top winners. Born in Tirana (Albania), the violinist studied with Ana Chumachenco at the University of Music and Theater in Munich. Encounters with personalities such as Neeme Järvi, Ida Haendel or Yehudi Menuhin shaped him artistically and personally.
Rudens Turku is the founder and artistic director of the Starnberger Musiktage (since 2000) and the Musiktage of the Olympiaregion Seefeld (since 2008). "Friends of Rudens Turku e.V." promotes the next generation of musicians. In 2013, Rudens Turku was awarded the Starnberg District Culture Prize.
