Roadhouse - Gods & Highways & Old Guitars (2013)

Energetic, classic original, dark trips into Americana, Blues, Rock, folklore with a solid backbone of class performance and production – that is Roadhouse. Roadhouse return with a new album that has Americana more to the fore, yet still retaining that classic blues/rock backbone and that signature Roadhouse sound. Eight out of the ten original tracks have Americana based content but the album also uses blues structures while avoiding the tired cliché of standard blues chords. There is also a stronger reliance on the female vocalists with four tracks featuring a female lead vocal and others with a female driven chorus.
