Personnel:
Stephen Dalton: Vocals & Rhythm Guitar
Jan Rottiers: Lead Guitar
Matt Timms: Harmonica
Mark Tomes: Double Bass
Steve Holley: Drums
Fifteen tracks (fourteen self penned) make up this 2nd album from Haney's Big House who write 50's R&B and Jump Blues songs that sound as though they were written a generation ago. Stunning musicianship and catchy, dance-able songs in a vintage style.
Haney's Big House is a five-piece Rhythm & Blues combo playing in the traditional 40’s/50’s style. Their line-up of Drums, Double Bass, 2 guitars and Harmonica uses largely period-vintage instruments and equipment to create the authentic sound which is the essence of Haney’s Big House.
Whilst they are a relatively new band on the UK scene, they focus on bringing original material that doesn’t sound out of place alongside the classic sounds of old style Chicago and swinging West Coast blues. Named after the legendary 50s juke joint in Ferriday, Louisiana , they bring superb musicianship and a powerful driving sound to Jump Blues and Swing.
Since starting out in 2017, they have become favourites of both dancers and blues music lovers and their schedule has been pretty jam packed playing clubs, music festivals and vintage events throughout the UK.
