The Wonder Stuff - The Eight Legged Groove Machine (20th Anniversary Edition) (2009)

This 20th Anniversary edition of the album features extra tracks and B-sides from around the original release - all re-recorded to give a much fuller/contemporary sound. The album was recorded with original producer Pat Collier, whilst staying true to the original there are a number of tweaks bringing the album in to the 21st Century. Many radio producers and DJs have commented that the album is better than the original and the maturity of Miles Hunt's voice brings a stronger sound to the recording. October 2008 saw the 20th Anniversary of the band's debut album release 'The Eight Legged Groove Machine'. To celebrate they played sell out shows at Birmingham Academy and Shepherds Bush Empire. Due to popular demand an Eight Legged tour has been booked for May 2009, playing the album in its entirety (with extra tracks), before hitting the summer festivals with their usual fantastic 'greatest hits' show.
