The Saint Paul - Core (2021)

"Core" is the fourth studio album to date that "The Saint Paul" have released on Infacted Recordings. The band around singer Paul Kuhs has developed a lot on "Core", both musically and production-wise. "The Saint Paul" produce dark electropop with rock influences, as far as the songwriting is concerned, up to technoid, almost "dance" leaning elements.

The haunting, gloomy and very melancholic vocals of singer Paul do the rest to cast a spell over the singer from song to song. After the limited single "Be A Rebel", which could place itself in the Top 10 of DAC and GEWC right away, the second single "Superficial" can also be found on the album. But "Core" can do more than just club and dance floor. As on their previous albums "III", "Consequence" and "Days Without Rain", "The Saint Paul" pull out all the stops when it comes to facets.

Melancholic mid tempo songs, electro tracks and club songs alternate and give "Core" an extremely entertaining character. Fans of bands like Mesh, Beborn Beton or Camouflage will also enjoy this album, but also friends of the harder electro sound will like it.
