Not for Feng Ning and certainly not on this CD which is an absolute joy to listen to. Feng Ning is without doubt one of the best violinists of a generation. At the Royal Academy Of Music he was the first student in nearly 200 years to be given 100% in his final exam! In 2006 he won the 51st Paganini International Violin Competition in Genova, Italy. You will not hear virtuostic solo violin music played better than it is here.
