Take A Ride was recorded in the spring of 2006 in Nashville and produced by Mark Nevers of the alt-country band Lambchop. George emerged from the shadows when in 2003 Casual Records included Get Involved, his first national hit, on their Country Got Soul compilation. Soule is a pivotal character in the history of Southern songwriters and this new album will capture collectors and new listeners alike with its deep soul ballads, floor filling funk, and slow burning country soul.
