Flying Lesbians - 1974-1976 (2007)

Flying Lesbians - "Flying Lesbians" is the only album of the eponymous group Flying Lesbians, which had a single edition in 1975 on the Frauen Offensive (FO 3-V4) in West Germany. It was reissued only on CD in 2007 in Germany under the name Flying Lesbians 1974-1976 (Bear Family Records CD FL 1975).

"Flying" or "Flying Lesbians" - a purely feminine (in every sense) group arose almost spontaneously at the first all-feminine music festival, Rockfete im Rock, organized within the framework of the women's movement on May 11, 1974 in West Berlin. "Rockfete im Rock" is translated from German as "Rock party in a skirt", for "Rock" in German is also "skirt". As the poster of the event "For Women Only" said. Some announced UK girl group canceled their performance and Flying Lesbians took the stage instead. As legend has it, this team gathered just a few days before the festival from the West Berlin musical group. Their performance made a splash.
