Sein Stil ähnelt dem von Allison, klingt insgesamt ohne den Meister jedoch einfach blasser, anders gesagt: weißer. Sehr rockiger, sägender Gitarrenton und alles eigene Songs. Gutes Bluesrock-Album / he was Luther Allison's long-time associate in the US. Shortly after Luther's death he started to work on this album. Somehow Luther's music is present in these takes, but he's got more of a rock approach to the blues with heavy, distorted and searing guitars. All orginals. Fine bluesrock album.
