Luscious Jackson - Fever In Fever Out (1996)

Luscious Jackson are an 'all-female band'. This would normally send a
shiver down most people's spines as they recall those dreaded words.
Remember Bananarama, The Belle Stars, The Nolans and the more talented but
still undeniably amateurish punk/new wave bands such as The Raincoats, The
Runaways and The Slits? So welcome this rare exception to female bands;
talented musicians who can write their own tunes. 'Fever In Fever Out'
itself is altogether less pop-oriented and more restrained but on its own
terms is another fine record.
