Zoroxxe - Nefelomancia (2021)

Zoroxxe is an experimental electronic project made by Ecuadorian Producers Daniel Lofredo Rota and JoaQuin Cornejo. Founded in 2018, Zoroxxe will be releasing their second studio album, “Nefelomancia’ (nephelomancy), in 2020, where they explore neptunean themes of vapor, and fog, atmospheric phenomena, mountain refuges, and the mythic characters that inhabit the glacial labyrinths of our consciousness.

Zoroxxe - Nefelomancia

Nephelomancy is the art of divining the future in the clouds. In their second album, Zoroxxe explore meteorological textures left behind by changes in pressure and humor. It is apophenia, through sound, auditory pareidolia of the movements of air. Fog, that fog which you see where the atmosphere is thinner, the home of mirages. Altitude, and its detours; the moon impersonates the sun, and the day continues undercover. Lagoons amongst the green. Where memories used to live. The warmth of a refuge, of a fire; and that amnesia like vapor, and its power to make the tracks that brought us here, disappear.
