Ariel Pink - Archevil (2021)

Archevil was originally set to be released as a bonus cassette along with orders of cycles 3 and 4 of the Ariel Archives project through Resident Music on January 29th, 2021. Before the cassettes were produced, Ariel Pink attended then-president Donald Trump’s “Save America” rally, infamous for later leading to the 2021 U.S Capitol insurrection. This prompted his label Mexican Summer to drop him and to cancel production of the cassette. On January 26th, Ariel himself started sending a Google Drive link containing it to those who asked him on Instagram.

The album is a compilation of rarities not covered by the Odditties Sodomies reissues, containing tracks both old and new.
