Jazz Jamboree'62 is the third album in the Polish Radio Jazz Archives series, which is the first part of the festival chronicle. It includes recordings of the Swedish trombonist Eje Thelin's quintet, the Scandinavian group Jazz Fraktionen, Jerzy Milian's band in which Krzysztof Komeda played the piano, and the Danish vibraphonist Louis Hjulmand performing with the Wojciech Karolak trio. The album also includes the second version of the work by Don Ellis Soloes, which the composer performed with the trio of Wojciech Karolak.
