Painter, engraver, poet, philosopher, esthetician and French composer, this is how we can present Georges Migot, who remains today a little-known artist in the musical world. Although much played between the two wars, where he was then appreciated for his talent, his work, like that of many so-called independent creators, fell into oblivion at the end of the Second World War. During the time when Georges Migot wrote the Trio, he became president of "La Spirale", an influential Parisian concert company dedicated to the presentation of contemporary French and international works. The Migot Trio is a direct heir to this musical legacy. The transcendence of his emotional fiber, his strong lyricism and his flash of religious fervor all reinforce his place as one of the most captivating French chamber music works of the early 20th century.
