Joanna Kowalczyk graduated with honors from the Academy of Music. Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz in Łódź, in the class of professors Antoni Wierzbiński and Ewelina Zawiślak (2014), and Haute école de musique de Genève in the class of prof. Jacques Zoon (2013). Scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, the Minister of Science and Higher Education and the Mayor of Gorzów Wielkopolski. Laureate of national competitions, incl. VII National Flute Competition in Wrocław in 2013 - 1st place, and international ones, such as the IV International Friedrich Kuhlau Flute Competition in 2011 and the III International Music Competition Michał Spisak in Dąbrowa Górnicza in 2009. In 2012–2014 she was associated with the European Union Youth Orchestra, with which she performed in Austria, Malta, Germany, Italy, Macedonia, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain and Scotland. Works with many teams, incl. with Orchester de la Suisse Romande and West Side Sinfonietta, as well as philharmonics, such as Gorzowska and Bałtycka. Since January 2014, she has been the first flutist of the Philharmonic Mieczysław Karłowicz in Szczecin. He is also a lecturer at the Szczecin Academy of Art.
Rafał Kowalczyk conducted his musical education on several instruments simultaneously: piano, French horn and harp. He graduated from the Academy of Music. Feliks Nowowiejski in Bydgoszcz, in the piano class of Tatiana Shebanova and Jarosław Drzewiecki, and the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music, in the French horn class of Aleksander Szebesczyk in 2014. Laureate of many music competitions and festivals, incl. Steinway Klavierspiel Wettbewerb in Hamburg in 2000 - 3rd prize, 8th Silesian Piano Competition in Zabrze in 2007 - 4th prize, 6th Festival of Brass Instruments in Mielec in 2007 - 2nd place, and the Piano Festival "Bieszczady without borders" in 2009 - Golden Parnassus Award. Since 2015, he has been a French horn soloist at the Castle Opera in Szczecin and a lecturer at the Szczecin Academy of Arts as an accompanist pianist. He collaborates with many orchestras, both as a pianist and horn player, incl. with the Philharmonic Mieczysław Karłowicz in Szczecin, the National Philharmonic in Warsaw, the Grand Theater - National Opera, the Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra and the Płock Symphony Orchestra, philharmonics: Gorzów, Poznań, Koszalin and Częstochowa.
