Group of Cleveland (Ohio) was formed in early 1968. His path began under the name of "Paper Sun And Freeport Express". The band played rock in the style of the late 60s, we were in Cleveland and around the clubs and dance halls, which had some popularity among the local youth. After some time, Eric Janson left the band, and in its place comes just two guitarists: Dennis Stredney and Roger Lewis, with the latter also had to give up after a while. And this lineup, and changed its name to "Freeport" they recorded their only LP in Miami for "Mainstream Records". Frontman - vocalist and keyboardist Kevin Raleigh in the late '70s and' 80s played (keyboards) in a fairly well-known group of Cleveland "Michael Stanley Band" and co-wrote all of the band's hits (Michael Stanley). In 1989 he released a solo album "Delusions Of Grandeur".
