Fraîchement rentré de Brooklyn, Yan Wagner, jeune producteur franco-américain nous propose un premier album (produit par Arnaud Rebotini / Black Strobe) au visage double, multi-facettes, joyeux et nostalgique à la fois. Rythmé et dansant, des nappes synthétiques, un pied appuyé, une voix grave accolée à des morceaux aux sonorités électronique / pop new wave, dont les influences (les premiers New Order, période Ceremony, Depeche Mode..) typées 80's , ne laissent pas de marbre. Des morceaux tantôt sombres mais entraînant, tantôt lumineux, nous projette dans une ambiance classieuse et haute en couleurs. Yan Wagner réussit un challenge, une fresque, un mélange remarquable. A noter qu'Etienne Daho vient épauler le maître de maison sur The Only One.
