Born November 16, 1965 in Greenville, Mississippi, Eden Brent is an award-winning blues pianist and vocalist who combines boogie-woogie with elements of blues, jazz, soul, gospel and pop.
A protégé of the late blues pioneer Boogaloo Ames, her style has been described as "Bessie Smith meets Diana Krall meets Janis Joplin". Discovered by South African blues man Valiant Swart and following a tour of the country, debut album "Something Cool" was released by Rhythm Records in 2003.
