The longstanding collaboration between Ad Vanderveen and Iain Matthews continues!
Iain Matthews was a member of the well-known Fairport Convention during their early period, when they were heavily influenced by American West Coast folk rock.
He later had a solo career and fronted the bands Plainsong, Hi-Fi, No Grey Faith, More Than A Song, and his own group Southern Comfort.
Ad Vanderveen is an excellent Dutch singer/songwriter whose songs and singing carve their own niche in the canon of American song.
Features a broad selection of originals as well as some cool covers, including Tom Waits' classic "Heart of Saturday Night" and Warren Zevon's "Mohammed's Radio." An acoustic-based record with some electric streaks!
