Ben Wylen - People Say (2020)

Singer-songwriter Ben Wylen has shared his debut solo album, People Say.

The new 12-track effort comes packed with confessional tunes that stand defiant in the face of rumours and rules other people believe they have to live by.

“Before I travelled to London to record this album, I made a bunch of demos in my apartment in LA,” Wylen explains. “At the time, I didn’t really understand production so I thought that I was just getting the song ideas down in their raw form so that later on Danton and I could spruce them up. In hindsight, so many of my initial instincts about structure and sonics informed a lot of the production. When I showed the demos to Danton, he immediately saw what I was trying to achieve.”
