Danilo R. Venturoli was born and lives in Milan. He attended free courses in Jazz Improvisation at the Civic School of Music in Desio, studying jazz piano with Luigi Bonafede. He then continued his training following the lessons of Willy Myette, Alessandro Tabacchi, Steve Nixon, Jeff Schneider and Kent Hewitt.

He has played in different formations and in different contexts, which have seen him range from Gospel to Teatro Canzone, from Jazz standards to electronic music.

He made "No trace - diary from Sachsenausen", a work inspired by the real diary written by his grandfather in the concentration camp, together with the reciting voice of Giulio Cappa and the parts sung by Sabrina Tessaro.

He staged "When Cade Un Quadro", a reduction of the monologue "Novecento" by A. Baricco, together with his actor friend Marco Libretti.
He has made several recordings both as an author and as a musician. He participated in the album "Musicheparole" by Federico Villa.
He is the author of the play "A lesson in jazz", staged with Claudia Campani and Federico Villa and the collaboration of Ornella Bonventre and David Casaril.
He is a great connoisseur of the "Genoese school", and has particular attention for Tenco, Bindi, Paoli, Endrigo and De Andre '.
He is a great expert on the biography of Tenco, to whom he has dedicated several tributes.

The PianoCity Milano 2017 concert was dedicated to the "Genoese school", while the PianoCity Milano 2018 concert in PianoTram was dedicated to Lucio Dalla.

The PianoCity 2019 concert consisted of a jazz reinterpretation of pieces by Vasco Rossi.
He also participated in the first edition of PIanoCity Trieste, in September 2019.
In the same year, he held the conference-show "The last days of Tenco", at the Traguardi association in Vignate.
