Peter Asplund & Aspiration - All My Septembers (2020)

Trumpet player, singer and composer Peter Asplund meets the great piano profile, Lars Jansson. Together with Hans Andersson, bass, and Johan Löfcrantz Ramsay, drums, the group plays new compositions by Asplund from his latest album, All my Septembers. Peter Asplunds ambition to present his music as a show, rather than just a concert, has become a trademark for him and his group, Aspiration. With two Golden Records, three Swedish Grammy-nominations and numerous other awards Asplund is a central figure on the Scandinavian jazz scene with one foot in contemporary jazz and the other deeply rooted in the traditional American songbook.
