Danilo Perticaro - Saxofonia (2020)

Danilo has performed in prestigious theaters and international contemporary music festival.Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, Tehran Contemporary Music Festival, Saint Etienne Linux contemporary Festival, festival internazionale EMUFest in Roma ,Filarmonica Romana, Festival Artescienza Goehte Institut, Festival musical to the real academia de Espagna.

Winner of national and international competitions, he collaborated with Filarmonica Romana, Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale of Santa Cecilia, Orchestra Theater of Cosenza, Winds orchestra of Porte Alegre, Goteborg Wind Orchestra , playing with notorious conductors and collaborating with international composers. He premiered over 30 new compositions.

He is part of several artistic projects: Duo AKSAK (saxophone and bayan), Duo mf (saxophone and piano), Duo HEMIOLA (Saxophone and Guitar), Festival Malvito in Musica (Artistic Director)

​He recorded for the EMAvinci records, and he publishes a piece for solo saxophone with Da Vinci Publishing.

Danilo started to play saxophone at the Conservatory of Cosenza, where she got a bachelor’s degree in classical saxophone and a master’s degree in chamber music, cum laude. He received his master’s degree in saxophone, cum laude, from the Conservatory of Rome, specializing in contemporary music with Enzo Filippetti. In addition to this, he attended to several masterclasses with international teachers, such as Claude Delangle, Vincent David, Jean-Marie Londeix, Lars Mlekush, Fabrice Moretti, Daniel Espinoza.
