The Bush League - Here We Are...again (2020)

Like all the best things in life, The Bush League is deeply rooted in the past. Tap rooted, hard times rooted, the “down in the dirt of the hills where the Earth and soul meet through the blood, sweat, and toil of your hands” rooted.

But just like those deep-rooted best things in life, The Bush League is always putting it out there towards the sun, the heavens, toward the future. An uncertain future to be sure- full of stormy weather and high waters but a future built on hope and love and then some. With a healthy dose of that ole fire water, the moon elixir.

And so here we are again- with The Bush League serving up that new-old sound we have come to love them for on this their 3rd studio record. The fellas along with some of the friends they’ve made along the way- doing songs from Fred McDowell, the Mississippi Sheiks, Skip James, RL Burnside, Charley Patton, and Junior Kimbrough as well as mixing in some of their own new classics!

So slide into your trusty porch rocker; pour yourself a glass of your best well aged refreshment, and sit your favorite person down on your lap and get ready to be about as happy as a possum eating soft briers, ‘cause “Here We Are Again!”
