G. Strizzolo - Yggdrasil (2020)

Honestly, Yggdrasil is one of the most ambitious and proudest projects I have done to date.
It is an album in which represents me who I am and where I am going (as a music producer and as a person). In which it faithfully reflect my feelings, my emotions and my way of interpreting what life is.
Sincerely in this album I have put everything I have had in my hands until leaving it as it is today.

'Yggdrasil' by G. Strizzolo is an incredible album. I'll refrain from attempting to describe it in words other than to say that it seems to carry a magical ability to induce a state of profound presence as I give myself over to it. Creating the final song for this album together with Guillermo was a lovely experience. After sharing ideas with Guillermo and tuning into the vision behind this work for quite some time, I was getting ready to record a piano improvisation. I recall doing one single take of the whole song and afterward feeling completely empty; feeling that all that was in my heart had been flowing through my hands. It was a sacred experience for me.
