Tore Johansen - Natt, Lys (2020)

It started with a Christmas album in 2000, "Man, woman and child" with i.a. Karin Krog. 10 years later, he followed up with a Christmas album in northern Norwegian, "Night, silent" - which was probably also the first album that collected many of the finest northern Norwegian Christmas songs.

And now in 2020, Tore has gathered the band from "Night, Quiet" to a new record release. It's called «Natt, lys».

The recording contains sparkling songs with coats of both pop, show, rap and jazz lacquer. Northern Norwegian good sound performed by some of Norway's foremost jazz musicians. Here, expectation, faith and doubt are toned shoulder to shoulder with light, joy and excitement. At this one concert, Tore and the band perform music from both "Night, quiet" and «Natt, lys».

Maybe Santa's coming.
