"With an aesthetic grounded in jazz but heavily informed by current trends in rock and funk, John Blevins' music feels relevant. He clearly has his finger on the pulse of the newest trends in jazz but stays very honest and true to his own compelling voice as a trumpet player and composer." - Alan Ferber, GRAMMY nominated Trombonist and Composer.
