Ugoless - Soul church music (2020)

"Soul Church Music" is the new album for Parco della Musica Records of the Ugoless collective, a jazz-electronic trio composed by Daniele Tittarelli on sax, Fabio Sasso on drums and Andrea Guastadisegni on synthesizers. The trio combines different sounds, the acoustic ones of drums and saxophones and the electronic ones of synthesizers and samplers, engaging mainly in original compositions or reworkings of "musical quotations". Among the notes there are the stories of the two jazz musicians, saxophonist Daniele Tittarelli and drummer Fabio Sasso, and of sound designer and audio engineer Andrea Guastadisegni, with their musical and cultural influences. Here references such as John Coltrane, Moondog and Autechre are modulated with samples of famous phrases from the world of cinema, politics and history, passing from Kubrick to Freud, Zeman. There have been numerous collaborations with other musicians of all kinds and for this new project they have made use of the contribution of pianist and keyboard player Domenico Sanna, a multifaceted artist, free and original spirit. The idea of ​​improvisation never fails, it is predominant, so as to make live concerts creative and unique, experimenting with ever new polyrhythms and sounds.
