In 2017, Daniel Trakell landed on the indie folk landscape with a sublime debut record called Paradise. Soon the world was introduced to a world so endearing and restful from the Melbourne-based singer-songwriter. Three years later, he repeated the feat with his successor, Warning Bell.

Always imbued with influences with 70's flavors worthy of Bob Dylan and Neil Young, Daniel Trakell will draw his inspiration from his intimacy and his rather harsh everyday life. It is listening to heartbreaking indie folk gems such as “Wisdom Boredom” which opens the ball as well as the romantics “Let Me Be” and “Oh Love” where the musician from Melbourne accompanied by Joshua Barber and Gretta Ray at controllers are more touching than ever.

With a sensitivity reminiscent of the late Elliot Smith, Daniel Trakell with his frail voice takes us by the hand and invites us into his reality as he perceives it. Whether on "Come To", "Me + You" or even on "Start Again", the Australian captivates us like no other, until the sumptuous pearls of "Turn Around" and "Love Waltz".
