This is a superb recording of some of Brahm's best choral works by an extraordinary ensemble of the Danish Orchestra and choir. This recording includes the Triumphlied, which I was unfamiliar with, as well as the much better-known Nänie, an extraordinarily beautiful work (perhaps Brahms' best choral composition) based on the story of Orpheus and Eurydice. For lovers of Brahms and/or exquisite choral music, this album should be in your collection.
