Cinezik lance sa collection de Vinyles dont l'une des 3 thématiques de la première fournée (Septembre 2020) est consacrée au cinéma de Quentin Tarantino. Même si cette programmation sur 2 EP est soumise aux contraintes juridiques (certains titres incontournables ne sont pas libres pour une exploitation physique, notamment à regret l'ensemble du catalogue de Morricone), nous avons tenté une playlist agréable à l'écoute, majoritairement rock. S'il y a bien un réalisateur dont les films sont musicaux, dont les oeuvres accordent une place de premier choix à la musique, c'est bien Quentin Tarantino. Tel un DJ de ses films, il conçoit lui-même les BO à partir d'emprunts variés issus de sa discographie de chevet, notamment du Rock ("Pulp Fiction", "Jackie Brown", "Kill Bill") tandis que dans les titres de Christophe pour "Sur la route de Salina" (de Georges Lautner) ou de Nick Perito ("The Green Leaves Of Summer") apparait l'influence du western italien.
