El Tee - Everything Is Fine (2020)

El Tee is an artist Eat This Music has had the opportunity to interview in the past when she released her single ‘Keep Walking‘ back in April 2020. Since that release, El Tee has gone on to release more music in the lead up to her debut album, which is out now independently via digital streaming platforms.

Speaking on the release of that aforementioned single to Eat This Music earlier in April, El Tee revealed that a lot of El Tee’s own life played in the creation of the new single, in fact, more than other of her other singles, it really describes the process of going through something tough, alone. Feeling shameful. Building a better understanding and a new narrative. Becoming empowered and finally moving forward.
El Tee’s debut album only features 10 songs, which is more than enough for El Tee to showcase who she is as an artist, storyteller and vocalist. From the opening instrumentals of ‘How I Like It‘, to the slowness and intimacy of ‘Stranger‘ & ‘Inside‘, respectively, to the overall presentation and well-oiled machine that is ‘Party‘, to the album closer ‘Good‘; this debut album from El Tee takes you on a journey from start to end.
