Bryan Daisley - From Dust (2020)

Bryan Daisley is a country musician with a unique voice who grew up and lives around the Puget Sound of Washington State. He writes and performs original songs as one of a growing chorus of local musicians who are all striving to develop and strengthen the sound of country music in the Pacific Northwest.

As a songwriter, Bryan tries to tell stories that you won’t often hear in the country genre. Rather than the line about the cute girl in the truck, Bryan sings about not being able to live up to the image of being a cowboy. Rather than the idyllic country life and sweet tea, Bryan sings about feeling trapped on the mountain. He also writes songs about love and beauty, and in some ways all of his songs come down to that, but the goal is always to deliver something that feels different.

If that doesn't sound like a commercial brand of country, you're probably right. Bryan's goal is to write for the people who tell him every day that they're tired of "the new stuff" where everything sounds the same. Country will always be about telling stories, and there are so many new stories still to be told.

Bryan's first album, From Dust, debuted in August 2020 (arriving to streaming services in September). From within dark mines, through collapsing barns and into the stadium lights of the rodeo arena, From Dust features a landscape where the mightiest of structures fall and change, bending to more powerful, more human forces that save only what’s worth saving.

He also enjoys his day job, his family and a whole lot of other stuff.
