In 1979 Paul Orta moved to Austin, TX. Paul Orta entered, upon arrival in Austin, TX, the University of Antones playing with blues greats suchs as Jimmy Rogers, Hubert Sumlin, Snooky Pryor, Eddie Taylor, Matt "Guitar" Murphy, Pinetop Perkins, Sunnyland Slim and many, many more. Paul Orta can be heard on over 4 dozen different complilations & albums around the world.
