Viktor Lundin - Innan Jag Somnar (2020)

With his debut “Innan jag somnar” (meaning “Before I fall asleep” in Swedish), double bass player and composer Viktor Lundin tries to capture the feelings of delusion and growing up - themes commonly found in pop music - in contemporary jazz music.

Together with his quintet, he embodies in text and music, the many and divided emotions associated with taking the step into adulthood. Through both instrumental and vocal tracks featuring Tora Runevad Kjellmer’s dynamic voice, improvisation and solo play is given plenty of room.
