NORTH ALONE has an extremely likeable, down-to-earth and
unpretentious buddy attitude and at the same time an
international, wide-traveled musical air that fills the folkpunk
and country fan with wonderlust even in front of his stereo system
at home.

You need to remind yourself over and over again that the artist is
actually german and not a real acoustic roughneck from the US, who
has been living out of a suitcase (and with a lot of whiskey) for
years. But this is exactly what NORTH ALONE is doing, whether at
solo shows, with his excellent fiddle player So-Kumneth Sim or
with the full band – at the moment (still) only in Europe.
However, the right DIY spirit and a trucker cap are always there.
This tireless with three chords is most probably the genuinely
honest formular for the beautiful songs on the LP „Cure &
Disease“.

Those who travel a lot have many stories to tell. Anyone who is
often on the road has this genuine street credibility and earns
more and more of it with every mile they go with their tour van.

NORTH ALONE has played more than 350 shows over the last four
years. He was the tour support for FRANK TURNER und SKINNY LISTER
and played support shows for many well known bands and musicians
