As a stage & vocal showstopper, Maxine Nightingale wowed the crowds with her vocal prowess in some of the early '70s greatest shows including Jesus Christ Superstar, Hair & Godspell. Then turning her attention to the pop world, Nightingale crashed the charts on both sides of the Atlantic with her disco smash "Right Back Where We Started From" which peaked at #2 in the US. Now available again after over ten years out of print is Nightingale's 1979 follow-up to her disco success entitled, Lead Me On. The title single was a worldwide hit that spent 23 weeks on the US pop chart, peaking at #5, as well as rising to the #1 spot on the Adult Contemporary Chart.
