They’re Playing My Music is one of two albums by Al Nobriga from the late 1970s and early 80s. The LP represents the singer's sometimes playful, often times easy-to-digest repertoire of original songs inspired by friends, lovers, and leisure.

He was born and raised on the island of Kauai. He attended college where he received a degree in teaching and later spent a year chalking the blackboards. But music was always his first love and, before long, Al was once again involved in what he enjoyed doing the most... writing and performing.

During the formative years, Al played with a variety of groups developing a sense of how his music could be be brought to the people. The many years of club dates have honed a feeling of keeping it simple and interesting. People from all walks of like are relating to his music... we hope you will.
